Overview
Newsplotter is a hosted service that allows you to publish dynamic and original
interactive maps with minimal effort.
Data is entered using custom forms or auto imported and is archived in a database.
The archived data is readily available to edit existing maps.
Once the data entry is complete, a user makes a request to generate the map elements.
The result is a structured xml file and web template that is tagged with corresponding
metadata containing addresses that have been automatically geocoded (e.g. process
of assigning geographic identifiers like latitude and longitude).
The search engine optimized web template and xml file are now ready to be downloaded
to your web server or automatically published to your production web server.
